Oregon Health and Science University School of Medicine

OHSU School of Medicine is the only medical school in Oregon. It is ranked #1 for medical schools with the best family medicine program. Admissions into medical school are quite competitive with the entering class having an average GPA of  3.63 with a median MCAT score of 509.

University of Washington School of Medicine (UWSOM)

UWSOM is ranked second for family medicine according to U.S. News & World Report’s 2022 Best Graduate School rankings. It is located in Seattle, Washington.

It was established in 1946, making it the first public medical school in the states of Washington, Wyoming, Alaska, Montana, and Idaho. Students of UWSOM pay a full-time tuition of $37,760 (in-state) and $69,186 (out-of-state). The application fee is $35 and the deadline is October 15.

University of North Carolina School of Medicine

University of California, San Francisco (UCSF) School of Medicine

UCSF School of Medicine is the oldest medical school in California. It is the only medical school in the US that is ranked top 5 in all eight specialty domains (anesthesiology, family and internal medicine, obstetrics & gynecology, pediatrics, psychiatry, radiology, and surgery).
