Patrick Soon-Shiong (born July 29, 1952) is a board-certified South African born Chinese-American general/transplant surgeon in Culver City, California.
He is popularly known for inventing Abraxane, a drug with high efficacy against lung, breast, and pancreatic cancer. Soon-Shiong is also a businessman, bioscientist, and media proprietor.
